Tell me more Peoria's Water Services Department has an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Compliance Inspector within the Environmental Resources Division.
The purpose of this position is to perform technical work to ensure compliance with permit requirements and federal and state regulations for drinking water, wastewater, reclaimed water, industrial pretreatment, biosolids, air/odors and storm water.
This is accomplished by collecting samples from the City's drinking and wastewater treatment facilities, wells, recharge facilities, and distribution system, completing chains of custody, utilizing instrumentation and database tracking software, and coordination with City staff and contract laboratories.
This position may also assist in the preparation of correction notices and annual reports, investigation of customer complaints, and public education and outreach.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
